PEPPlaybook ← The PEP Post Play

The Programme · Week 1

The rating never punishes rest.

PEP Playbook™ is a recovery game shaped like football. Your habits are players. Protecting your energy is the offensive line. A day is won at ten yards — and taking a knee on a bad day scores the same as a completed play, because a bad month must never cost you something.

Built for people coming back from burnout, Long COVID, chronic fatigue and depression. Played by anyone who wants a season instead of a streak.

The Scoring, In Full

Three, three, three, and one.

No hidden formula, no streak multiplier. Three habits you protect every day, worth three yards each. Both boundaries holding is worth one more.

Ten yards is a first down — a won day. Seventy is the week, and the week is a PEP-Up.

The Lineup

You do not download habits. You draft a team.

Eleven positions, filled in the preseason, in your own words. Five protect the day. Five move it forward. The eleventh is you.

Every position has a job, a question to answer, and suggestions if you want them. Pick gridiron or futebol and the whole roster speaks that sport — the game underneath is identical.

The Non-Negotiable

Your blind side. The one thing that, if it goes, collapses everything behind it — and you will not see it coming. Settled once, kept all season.

Inner Strength · The Foundation

What steadies you from the inside. Gratitude, prayer, a page of writing before anyone needs you.

Stay Centered

The centre snaps the ball — nothing starts until this one is calm. Breath, stillness, ten minutes with the door shut.

Movement Maker

Whatever moving looks like this month. A three-mile run and a walk to the window are the same three yards.

The weekly one. What you are declining this week so the rest can happen — boundaries are protection, not punishment.

Energy Amplifier

The tight end can block and can catch. This one gives energy back rather than only protecting it — the small input that reliably lifts the day a notch.

Inner-Circle Support

One person who already knows the situation, so you do not have to explain from the beginning. Recovery is not a solo sport.

Safe Space

The slot receiver works in space — and so do you. A place, real or remembered, where your shoulders come down without you deciding to relax.

Purpose Playmaker

The deep threat. This is what the protected energy is for. Small plays keep the drive alive; this is the reason there is a drive at all. Name the thing, not the feeling.

You

Coach studies the film and recommends. You make the final call, always — including the call to run out the clock.

Two Rules That Do Not Bend

Nothing is ever taken away.

No score falls because you had a bad week. No streak is lost, no progress reset, no red number waiting when you come back. An energy-recovery app that punishes a bad month is not an energy-recovery app.

Reading yourself beats grinding.

The rating measures whether the size you called matched the day you said you were having. Calling big on a day you already knew was low is the only thing that costs you — and resting on it scores the same as playing.

Two hands meeting, three fingers each, at a burst of light.

The PEP-3™

Three a week. And you cannot do it alone.

Extend your three middle fingers, wiggle them, and tap them against someone else's three — still wiggling. Three fingers, three things handed over: energy, positivity, freedom — the freedom to laugh, and the freedom to smile. And that is Positive Energy Proliferation™, in practice.

Kickoff

The preseason takes about four minutes.

You pick a sport, name your five protectors, and choose the tempo you can actually keep. Then Monday starts.
